Ps Elijah & Angela Kong now serves as Youth Pastors. Passionate for young people, they seek to encourage this generation through nurturing, dynamic preaching and leadership. Having served the young people for 9 years and counting, they firmly believe God has a special call for young Malaysians to preach, teach and lead. While Ps Elijah’s ministry includes overseeing the Young Adults ministry and campus outre-aches, Ps Angela also heads the financial administration department and our very own education program to nurture, train and equip Church of Praise members.

I always believe that young people are the leaders of tomorrow. I love investing into their life. It brings me much pleasure when they grow up strong in their faith. Besides, working together with other youth leaders as a team makes this ministry much more effective than before. Final word: “It’s my privilege to serve the young people. I have seen many adults living hedonistic life which is seemingly aimless. My mingling with them revealed one thing in common – life without God, matters not if they have drifted from God or never believed in God before. In this I strongly believe that it is of paramount importance to start them young, fill the next generation (you) with Jesus and the correct spirit to be salt and light to this world; to be people who are able to touch hearts and change life through experiencing Christ. I want to be a part of this transforming movement for Jesus. – Kam Oon Tian

-”BUT seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”.-A familiar verse?Yea, that was what the Lord has placed in my heart about ministry.God has created a burden in my heart to sow and give back to the youths as I have received in my youth days.This is because I believe that the youths can be a generation that will stand tall for their faith and make a difference in the society.And with this,I strongly believe that the CuttingEdge Youth will send out a strong army of God to the battlefield. Week-time turned out to be fulltime and today I lead because I was well led. My desire is to speak and challenge young people to maintain their Christian world not to compromise by the lies of the enemy but to hold on to Jesus. My prayer is that God will give us the strength and confidence as we do our part to equip this generation to become contagious to the love of Christ.
